Against the backdrop of poor education standards obtainable in most Nigerian public schools, AfRII is desirous of a drastic change. We are dedicated to seeing students from disadvantaged communities access quality education. We believe in helping students from disadvantaged communities have a fair chance in their quest towards educational and personal development. Through strategic support and interventions, we are preparing students from disadvantaged communities for a competitive world around and beyond them.
TACT 2.0 project is the second phase of our community-based education intervention project. The first phase lasted 5 years (between 2012 – 2017). The second phase started in July 2019 with a 4 weeks SUMMER SCHOOL for public secondary school students in Ilora community, Oyo state Nigeria. The 2019 summer school had over 150 participants from 4 public schools. The project was conceived to make-up for the missing gap in the student’s curriculum and begin to prepare them towards the standardized examinations.
